Skin Needling Aftercare Advice
- You may feel slight discomfort and a warm sensation for next 24 hours in the treated area after needling.
- You may find your skin slightly swells and looks a little red which is quite normal & may remain for the next 3 or 4 days. Your skin may appear like mild sunburn, however will slowly heal and the redness will resolve.
- You should not use any perfume, perfume products or glycolic for 3 days post treatment.
- Some dryness and flakiness will happen and will last for 7 days post treatment.
- Stay out of the sun! You should use at least SPF 30 to get sun protection even when it is raining.
- Avoid use of sauna, steam bath and any other heat treatment at least 2 weeks post treatment.
- Intense exercise or any type of strenuous activity is best avoided for 1 week after needling.
- Mineral Makeup and professionally prescribed skincare is recommended post skin needling.
